The Canadian Association of Public Health Dentistry develops positions statements that are related to dental public health.
Appointed members of the Position Development Committee develop the evidence based position statements and CAPHD members are engaged to provide input. Position statements are reviewed and updated to reflect the current evidence.

Any member can request the development of a position statement. A request must be made in writing and be sent to the Executive Committee for approval. If approved it will be forwarded to the committee for consideration. The Executive and the committee can also make requests.
