The members of CAPHD are the dental public health (DPH) voice in Canada. They give the association its strength, vision and credibility. CAPHD continues to be an avenue for advocacy for DPH matters.

Dental Public Health Specialists are represented by the CAPHD on the Canadian Dental Specialities Association (CDSA), which is an affiliate through the Canadian Dental Association (CDA).

ELIGIBILITY

Membership is open to any person who demonstrates an interest in the advancement of dental public health including: dentists, university professors, dental hygienists, dental therapists, dental assistants, denturists, public health administrators, non-profit organizations, researchers, college educators, undergraduate students, graduate students, professional associations, health professionals, public health workers, etc.

MEMBERSHIP PERIOD & POLICIES

  • Memberships are based on the fiscal year from April 1 through to March 31 of each year.
  • Membership fees are non-refundable.
  • New members who apply after December 31 will pay the current membership rate but will have membership until the end of the following fiscal year.
  • Memberships are not prorated.
  • To avoid a lapse in membership benefits please ensure your renewal fees are received by March 31st of each membership year.
